Saturday was such a fun day for the whole family. It started with Austin's first birthday party that Bradach was invited to. It was a monkey theme and we all had a great time. Austin's mom and I were friends growing up and we both hope that our sons have a fun time growing up together. After the party Bradach went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for the evening while Phil and I went on our first date since Bradach was born, the date was also for our 5th year of marriage. For those of you who don't know that is 8 months. And it is actually longer since I was on bed rest the whole last month, and I was also coaching softball before that. Anyways Phil and I went to dinner and then to the movies. We saw a 3D movie so we got to wear these "Drew Carey" glasses. It was a ton of fun. Phil was such a gentlemen, opening the car door for me and everything! He even dressed nice, which is jeans for him. All in all it was one of the best days I have had in a long time. I think we will be going on more dates in the future.
